Field Day 2015

HOPE K-8th graders are invited to Field Day 2015 on Friday, Sept. 18th, from noon to 2 p.m. at the CU Denver Field at Auraria Campus. Last year's event drew nearly 700 and was an activity students talked about for months afterwards! 

HOPEcoming 2015

HOPE's annual High School Back to School Dance, this year called "HOPEcoming," will take place on Saturday evening, Sept. 12th, from 8 to 11 p.m. in Denver.

All HOPE students in 9th-12th grade are encouraged to attend! The event is FREE and will include a fun evening of dancing and meeting students from other HOPE Learning Centers. HOPE students can bring a date/guest who is not enrolled in HOPE.

2015 Elmira Clothing Bank Open House

HOPE families and friends are invited to the annual Clothing Bank Open House on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 28th and 29th. There are a variety of items families are looking for this back-to-school season, including pants, shirts, sweatshirts, coats, backpacks, books, water bottles and shoes. All items are free of charge. This event will take place at 1564 Elmira St.

Coaches needed for 15/16 HOPE sports teams

HOPE is so thankful to all those in the community who stepped forward to coach the 48 HOPE sports teams during the 2014/2015 school year! We are now recruiting adult volunteer coaches for the 2015/2016 athletics program. If you are interested, please contact Melanie Stone at 720-402-3016.

An important part of the HOPE learning model is our activities and athletics program. HOPE has found through the years that this program contributes to the academic success of our students. We underwrite the cost of much of this program, making it affordable for our students. 

End-of-the-Summer Celebrations 2015

For the next several weeks, HOPE will be out and about in the community meeting with students as we gear up for the 2015/2016 school year! We hope you can join us for one of these fun events. All students are encouraged to bring another school-aged friend who isn't a HOPE student to the events they attend. Those that do will earn a HOPE Buck, which can be redeemed during this fall's Learn and Earn Program. There will also be information at these events about enrolling for 2015/2016. All events are FREE and no RSVP is required. Students can attend as many events as they are able. 

Summer Kick-Off Celebrations 2015

It's summertime! And we are starting off the festivities with two events for our HOPE families and friends this weekend. 

Come enjoy FREE food and fun as we mark our 10th year anniversary and look forward to the future!

We will also be enrolling students for the 15/16 school year. These are the perfect events for families wanting to learn more about HOPE as a school option for the fall as well.

HOPE Spring Field Day 2015

We are excited to announce our Spring Field Days for our students! These are free events. 

Our first Spring Field Day is Friday, May 1st, for our Southern Colorado Learning Centers. The event will be at Bruner Park in Pueblo, which is across the street from our Cornerstone Learning Center. It will include a picnic lunch as well as obstacle courses, games and TONS OF FUN! All ages are invited to participate.  

HOPE High School Picnic 2015

Due to weather, this event has been moved to Jump City in Westminster from noon to 2 p.m. 

The end of the school year is right around the corner! We plan to celebrate with our high school students at a picnic near our Front Range Broomfield Learning Center on Friday, May 8th, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is free and will include both lunch and games. 

Arts Across Cultures presents "The Heart is Hope" at the Denver Art Museum

Announcing the end of the year performance for HOPE's Arts Across Cultures program. This is a year-round arts program at two HOPE Learning Centers in Denver, Victory at Hillcrest and I AM. Throughout the year, students in K-12th grades have had the opportunity to meet and work with local artists in a variety of mediums from dance to music and visual arts. This performance will showcase their learning throughout the last year. We hope you can join us!
