Bishop Jerry Demmer
Servant Chair and Chief Executive Officer The Absolute Word Church And CEO of One Accord Movement Ministry
Bishop Jerry Demmer was installed as the President of the Greater Metro Denver Ministerial Alliance during an Investiture Service, January 2019. Bishop Demmer was consecrated Bishop of Living Word Ministries International, August 2017.
Bishop Demmer retired from the Denver Water Department where he worked for 25 years. He established two businesses; AFMERICA clothing line and JK Realty. In May 2007, Bishop Demmer began his own ministry and is the Senior Pastor of The Absolute Word Church.
Bishop Demmer currently works as Co-Director and Business Manager at Parkhill Learning Academy Charter School; City and County of Denver Parks and Recreation as a Park Host at Sonny Lawson Park; and Chairman of the Board for FaithBridge a non-profit organization. Bishop Demmer is also a Chaplain for the Colorado State Senate.
Bishop Demmer had his own radio broadcast ministry “Time for a Change” for five years on KLDC Shine 1220 am which aired every Sunday, and on Internet TV on www.Godswordtv.com which was seen every Sunday.
The outreach ministries that he has overseen are: Tamar Men’s Ministry, AWCStreet Feeding, Fatherhood/Fatherless Mentorship Program, Gang prevention and intervention, Prison Outreach, Prison Letter Writing Ministry, St. James 1:27 Outreach, Drug and Alcohol Abuse Classes.
Bishop Demmer and his wife Katrina Demmer “Lady K” owned and operated The Absolute Word Childcare for over four years.
