HOPE's Governing Board is represented by community members dedicated to high quality education options for Colorado's kindergarten through twelfth grade students. They recognize that HOPE's hybrid school model, offering individualized online curriculum as well as face-to-face instruction from teachers and mentors, combines the best of both worlds for HOPE students. The purpose of the SAC is to inform, encourage and provide opportunities for parents and community members to be involved in the planning and evaluation of the school’s instructional program and quality improvement processes.
By definition, the SAC is an advisory body. Final decision-making authority rests with the principal or other person or group (e.g., the Superintendent, District Advisory Committee (“DAC”) or Board of Education) receiving the recommendation from the SAC.
For more information about SAC meetings, please call Melanie Stone, HOPE Staff SAC Liaison, at 720-402-3016.
