Graduation Pathways

HOPE offers two distinct pathways to graduation, allowing students to choose the option that best fits their academic goals and future aspirations.


  • Core 24 Pathway

    The Core24 Diploma Pathway is the primary graduation track at HOPE, preparing students for college, career training, or military service while ensuring they meet Colorado’s Higher Education Admission Recommendations.


    Key Highlights:

     

    • Who is Eligible? All students working toward a traditional high school diploma.
    • Total Credits Required: 24 credits across core subjects, electives, and career-focused courses.
    • College & Career Readiness: Students must demonstrate proficiency in Literacy and Mathematics through standardized tests, concurrent enrollment, industry certifications, or a capstone project.
    • Personalized Learning Plan (iCAP): Each student completes an Individual College & Career Plan (iCAP) to align coursework with future goals.
    • Designed for College, Military, or Workforce Entry: A well-rounded academic foundation that supports multiple post-graduation pathways.

    This pathway meets or exceeds Colorado’s Higher Education Admission Recommendations, ensuring students are prepared for college-level coursework and career training programs.

  • Workforce Ready Diploma Pathway

    The Workforce Ready Diploma at HOPE  is designed for students aged 17 or older who are in their senior year and are 10 or more credits away from graduating on the traditional pathway. This pathway focuses on career readiness, industry-recognized certifications, and practical workforce skills to prepare students for employment.


    Key Highlights:


    • Who is Eligible? Seniors (12th grade), 17+ years old, and 10 or more credits away from graduating on the Core24 Pathway.
    • Focus on Career Skills – Prepares students for technical fields, trades, and business environments.
    • Required Coursework – Four essential courses in literacy, math, science, and civics.
    • WorkKeys® Assessments – Students must pass six ACT WorkKeys exams to earn the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC).
    • Alternative Graduation Pathway – Ideal for students seeking workforce entry but may not be recognized by all colleges, universities, or military branches.

High Potential (HiP) Program


The Gifted & High Potential (HiP) Program at HOPE provides advanced academic challenges for students with exceptional abilities, creativity, and motivation. The program offers personalized learning experiences, mentorship, and rigorous coursework to help students develop critical thinking, leadership, and career readiness skills.


Key Highlights:


  • Middle School: Project-based learning, mentorship programs, specialized workshops, and collaborative problem-solving.

Concurrent Enrollment


HOPE offers Concurrent Enrollment (CCE) opportunities that allow students to earn college credit while completing high school—at no cost. Through partnerships with colleges across Colorado, students gain access to dual credit courses that help them save on tuition, accelerate their education, and prepare for better job opportunities.

Work Study Program


HOPE's Work Study Program provides high school students with the opportunity to earn elective credit for approved job and career experiences. This program is designed for students who want to gain valuable workplace skills while staying on track for graduation.
