Who is Eligible?


Students must meet the following eligibility requirements to participate in Concurrent Enrollment:


  • Be enrolled as a high school student at HOPE Online Learning Academy.
  • Meet the college’s placement and academic requirements (determined through Accuplacer or other assessments).
  • Obtain approval from a HOPE Academic Advisor and complete necessary enrollment forms.

How to Enroll in Concurrent Enrollment Courses


Step 1: Meet with a HOPE Academic Advisor


Students interested in Concurrent Enrollment should schedule a meeting with their HOPE Academic Advisor to discuss eligibility, course options, and career pathways.


Step 2: Complete Accuplacer Placement Testing


To ensure proper course placement, students may need to take the Accuplacer or provide qualifying scores from exams such as the PSAT, SAT, or ACT.


Step 3: Select Courses & Apply


Students and advisors will work together to select appropriate college-level courses and submit enrollment applications to the partnered college.


Step 4: Begin College Coursework


Once accepted, students will attend classes either online or in-person through the college, while receiving support from HOPE mentors and advisors.
