• Completion of Graduation Requirements: All graduates must fulfill every graduation requirement, including coursework and assessments, by May 5th, 2023. Failure to meet this deadline will result in ineligibility to participate in the ceremony, though students may still receive their diploma at a later date.
• Adherence to Student Conduct: Graduating students must comply with all student code of conduct expectations up to and including the graduation ceremony. Any violations may result in disqualification from participating in the ceremony.
• Thursday, May 22 at 6:00 p.m. at Echo Park Stadium in Parker (11901 Newlin Gulch Boulevard, Parker, CO 80134). Graduates should arrive by 5:00 p.m. for a brief rehearsal and last-minute announcements.
• Tuesday, May 20 at 6:00 p.m. at Pueblo Memorial Hall (1 City Hall Place, Pueblo, CO 81003). Graduates should arrive by 5:00 p.m. for a brief rehearsal and last-minute announcements.
Attendance at the graduation ceremonies is encouraged but not mandatory. Students are welcome to invite guests to join the celebration.
HOPE Online will provide each graduate with ten announcements, which include a formal name card, photos, and envelopes. These will be available for distribution from your learning site by the second week of May. Additional announcements can be ordered in increments of ten for $10.00, with an order form provided in the Grad Day folder. Spanish announcements are also available; please inform your learning site if you need translated announcements.
Students who prefer a name other than their legal name on the announcements may change it on the Graduate Information 2025 Google Form or on their senior profile sheet.
HOPE Online will provide caps and gowns, which will be distributed in the second week of May, provided all requirements have been met. Please check the fit as soon as you receive your gown. If there are any sizing issues, inform your learning site immediately. Ensure the gown is ironed or steamed before the ceremony.
Graduates may decorate their caps, but decorations must be appropriate for the formal ceremony. They should not reference drugs, alcohol, gang affiliation, or political statements. All cap decorations will be approved by learning center staff before Graduation Day. Caps that do not meet expectations will be replaced with an alternate cap.
Gold honor cords are awarded to the top 20% of students based on GPA, attendance, and leadership. These cords will be distributed at rehearsal. Honor students will present the pledge of allegiance. Other cords: Students may wear cords given by a learning site, community organization, or military branch, as long as they are not gold, black & silver, or maroon & silver.
HOPE Online will print your official name of record as per the birth certificate provided during enrollment. If you have had a legal name change, please bring a copy of the official document to your learning site for correction.
We recognize the support you've received to reach this milestone. Each graduate may select ONE adult who has supported them to escort them into the ceremony. Escorts should arrive at 5:30 p.m. for processional line-up.
Graduation is a formal ceremony and celebration. Professional or formal attire is expected. Examples of formal attire include a dress, a skirt and blouse, or long pants with a blouse or dress shirt. No jeans, please.
Dress shoes are required; no flip-flops or sneakers. For those attending the May 20th ceremony, the stage is on a turf field, so avoid spiked heels that may sink into the ground.
